The Upper Peninsula Association of rural Health services, Inc. is accredited by the Joint Commission on
Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, an independent body that oversees the safety and quality of
health care and other services provided in accredited organizations.
Any person believing that he or she has pertinent and valid information about such matters can bring this
to the attention of the JCAHO at any time.
